I was so happy to hear that you almost made it to Moscow! There wasn’t a better pinch hitter to stand in for Glenn Greenwald if you ask me and it really validates your contribution to the geopolitical commentary space. We just have to hope another opportunity arises! Anyway, congratulations!
PS: It looks like Keir Starmer’s headlong dash back into the EU is going to be in real trouble. I can’t see any country wanting to join that block now (or remain in it?) with a 30% tariff. As I read it, the UK is subject to a 10% tariff if it remains outside the EU. Kind of a clever move on Trump’s part, if it was deliberate. IMHO

As for Trump’s tariffs, yes the big difference between the UK and the EU is a big tell. So is his honoring the USMCA rules for Canada and Mexico. Carney will have trouble virtue signaling that one
