I spend some time expounding on ideas in yesterday’s blog post about how the writers of NBC’s The Good Place takes Sartre’s No Exit and turns it on its head.  But, more than that, how important it is for us to remain positive in the face of a vicious Culture War we neither asked for nor want to fight.

I tend to over-use my economic perspective to describe what is happening and why, forgetting to relate it back to my life and my experiences.  This is where Jordan Peterson shines and reminds me of how much work I have in improving my messaging.

Retaining both your humanity and your empathy is what will save the world during what are shaping up to be very dark times indeed.
