We piss on the goons in the jungle,
It’s a knockout”

We have a communications problem in America.
It’s always been a problem between generations as societies evolve. New Slang, new clothes, new music…
But what always happens is that this is just veneer. Underneath there are no “new ideas” even though the kids think there are. There are no “new fears.”
… and it is those fears we have to address but we’ve lost the connection between values and prices. It’s sucked the joy out of work as well as our leisure time.
The “Everything Bubble” has corrupted our discourse to the point of true insanity.
And it’s driven asset prices into territories that, historically, always correct.
How they will correct is the key question and at this point that question has no answer.
And that’s the fear we have to address with our kids.
That’s what leadership is and the Trump administration has to thread the needle to keep the kids from not caring if it all crashes.
