Martin Armstrong returns to the podcast with an wide-ranging interview discussing all the angles around Donald Trump’s recent declarations and actions. We try to cut through the noise to determine whether war is really coming or not.
Also for discussion is the possible reform of the Fed, how the Deep State really works, and how to actually get a decent night’s sleep amidst all this change.
The real war is financial. The West is losing to the East on that front via BRICS and a series of other parallel actions that are creating legitimate competition for the USD for the first time since WW2. BRICS effectively acts as a placeholder for “East”.
Everything we see on the military war front is basically flailing at this point trying to delay the inevitable multi-polarization of the financial world ( and rise of mercantilism ).
I think Trump gets the fact that it’s international finance driving this stuff, and that the US + more broadly the West needs to get it’s house in order, start competing financially in a far more efficient and productive way, stand up “Fortress NA”, etc.. But … I get the distinct feeling that there are just SO MANY forces resistant to the required changes to accomplish all that he seems to have thrown up his hands and is saying “I can’t deal with these idiots anymore. We haveto let it get even worse before it can get better.”
