The image of the movie hero outrunning the cops in a frantic chase to freedom is one of the most iconic in U.S. culture.
From Burt Reynolds’ ‘The Bandit’ outwitting Sherrif Buford T. Justice to Han Solo weaving the Millienium Falcon through an asteroid field to escape multiple Star Destroyers their indomitable will made them heroes to multiple generations.
The truckers who laid siege to Ottawa’s Parliament Square are heir real-world examples.
Their protest has drawn out the long knives of Davos and its minions, exposing them for the corrupt Communists they are.
Even though it’s been dispersed, it has inspired the world in a way no violent assault ever could.
And that means we are closer to winning than losing, even though it feels that way.
It’s time to throw off the comfort of the old world. It’s gone. A new one is on the horizon and the tools to resist their tyranny are in our hands, just like the steering wheel of The Bandit’s Trans Am and his CB radio.
So, don’t think America’s car culture and tax revolt genesis are dead. They are anything but.

lol .. love the randomly thown in “communists”. I assume this is to draw attention away from your fear that the Davos crowd is a feature emergent from your own preferred ideology, whatever that might be..
.
They are Communists… it isn’t a random statement.
Tom:
You are clearly wrong.
Klaus Schwab’s WEF (whose Young Nazi Leaders include the head of the IMF EU ECB Trudeau, Buttegieg Newsom etc etc etc etc) are an exact replica of Hitler’s 3rd Reich (they are the 4th (and Schwab always terms his movement the 4th revolution) , copying Mussolini’s definition of Fascism: “Corporatism, the merger of government and corporate power” and this is Fascism on steroids global corporate MONOPOLY power merged with trans-national government authority – from Central banks to UN Agenda 21 directives (that are destroying 4 mill acres of US farmland for terraforming as we speak).
Schwab was a Hitler Youth child soldier (who Gen. Steiner saved from Hitler’s directive to use them up vs the Red Army in Berlin in 1945.
His father ran forced labor camps for Hitler as head of Escher-Wyss (which has business ties to the Schwab and the Fauci-Abys family back to 1608). Schwab’s partner in the WEF world takeover is George Soros whose first job in WW2 was turning in Jewish neighbors to Hitler’s SS for a cut of their possessions)
Chrystia Freeland [who ACTUALLY runs Canada for born-on-3rd-base empty suit dweeb Trudeau ) is a top Schwab YL Nazi who ran counterintel vs Russia in Ukraine for the Nazis there (her grand daddy was a Nazi propagandist for Hitler in WW2).
Do I have to draw it for you in crayon?
Do I have to draw it for you with a crayon? The differences between Fascism and Communism are negligible. It’s just definitional about how to implement tyranny. It’s a purity spiral argument.
But, please, continue to condescend everyone here with your esteemed wisdom while you play stupid Marxist word games.
Useful Idiot.
Thomas Sowell has an interesting piece about the similarity between the two:
THE LEFT-RIGHT DICHOTOMY
https://theindependentwhig.com/haidt-passages/sowell-the-left-right-dichotomy/
He suggests that the real political spectrum ought to look something like this, from no government control to total government control:
Anarchists Libertarians Classical Liberals Socialists Totalitarians
And in the totalitarian group you can find both the Fascists and the Communists. The difference is only semantic.
He posits that the traditional Left-Right spectrum we all learned at school, with the Fascists on one end and the Communists on the other was a Lefty intellectual “device” meant to obscure… and thus confuse everyone. The CrashDavis comment was an example of what the device was intended to do. IMHO
I also didn’t know that the Nazis didn’t use that acronym, but was promulgated by Western intellectuals to “bury the socialist component”. I suppose people might ask too many questions if the full name was used: “National Socialist German Workers Party”.
To the average person living in either regime, it won’t matter if the State owns the corporations or directs the corporations… and it won’t matter to the elites either, because they remain at the top in both systems.
For what it is worth…
Yes, they are communists! and they have learned how to attach a Fascist economy to a Communist ideology
My suspicion is that they will happily use fascism to get to communism. Won’t that be a surprise for their corporate toadies!
…Last week, reports revealed that Silicon Valley billionaire Tom Siebel was one of the group’s leading benefactors, donating $90,000 to the Freedom Convoy movement that had also gained support from Tesla CEO Elon Musk and U.S. Republicans….

IMHO the terms fascist, communist, left wing , right wing etc are tired old labels rooted in the 18th-19th century UK industrial revolution. Those days when business was in the hands of the few (industrialists) who most certainly exploited the workers of the day who never ever aspired to being owners of the “means of production”, (sorry couldn’t resist). So instead this concept of them vs us , workers vs owners, left vs right emerged. Politicians have gone along with this tired concept for 200 years. Those on the right tempering the exploitation with promises of the fruits of business via share ownership or be your own boss, the American dream etc. The left with its centralised control for the “benefit of all”, which it never was. Both ideologies relied on centralised control of everything, controlled by the few, benefiting the few with this veneer of being “for everyone” via democracy.
We are at a turning point where the old politics are clearly not functioning and not benefiting the vast majority of people. I would say the vast majority of us would get along just fine without centralised government, if we can trade with one another without the fricking centralised banking system. If we can work for the benefit of each other in small productive self governing economies but with a high degree of cooperation NOT control but open cooperation etc etc multiple commentators and bloggers from across the political spectrum seem to be converging on this de-centralised “hub”. The internet means our neighbour is no longer the adjacent village but ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. Cryptocurrency allows us to trade with anyone anywhere in the world without banks. Blockchain allows us to have trading contracts and law without lawyers, ya fricking hoo!.
I’m not sure how we achieve this. I know one thing : if everyone becomes silo’d within their own local groups then globalists with the power that then can wield will simply overwhelm us. We need to have worldwide cooperation (for strength and protection) in order to achieve de-centralised society, business and politics…..the oxymoron that it is!
FYI I ignored the American spell checking , it’ an s not a z over here !
Western media has been spewing propaganda for weeks about Ukraine. Crimea and Donbas have been Russian controlled territories since the reign of Peter the Great (1702-1725, not counting the period he was co-tsar). That means Russia’s claim to the area pre-dates the USA declaration of independence by many decades.
Meanwhile, Biden’s claim to the region dates back 10 years when his drug addicted boy started collecting bribes from Bursima to put US taxpayer money and CIA assets (also US taxpayer property even if the corrupt bureaucrats don’t know it) on the line.
Most Americans can’t find Ukraine on a map of Eastern Europe, and none of us have any interests there — except Hunter Biden and George Soros. The other 330 million of us don’t know and don’t care. We have plenty of issues to work on right here at home.
So today Putin officially recognized two regions as independent of Ukraine. The areas are predominantly Russian inhabitants (for hundreds of years).
Putin is sending in Russian peace keepers, at the request of the host governments. NATO failed to start a new war to replace Afghanistan, the weapons manufacturers in Washington are in tears.
Germany doesn’t want to be forced to restart every coal mine and every coal burning electrical plant in their country — so they told “NATO” (US/UK) that this Ukrainian grab-fest and US/UK weapons manufacturer hay day was not going to fly out of Ramstein airbase (or anything on German soil). That pretty much kills Biden’s options if he somehow got support in the US.
NATO — which at this point is just US/UK anyway — is over in every meaningful way (even if it exists on paper). Germany needs Russian natural gas more than they need “protection” from a country that is not able to invade and would rather collect natgas payments.
Meanwhile, Biden cannot even protect the US border with Mexico — which calls into question his ability to protect an imaginary border through Russian territory.
The Ukraine fiasco is over. Biden lost again… well, Obama’s foreign policy morons lost again but Biden hired them and he is officially president when he is not taking a nap.
Next loss: Biden and Obama’s foreign policy team will next be humiliated in Taiwan. Actually, we should all change our maps to Formosa, China since Beijing will be back in control of Taipei soon.
Some politicians in Washington promised to defend Taiwan. They also promised not to raise our taxes. Not to F up regulations. They promised the VA would look after veterans. They promised to maintain our highways.
Washington DC promised the lockdown would last “two weeks”.
Taiwan should know better than to trust a promise from US politicians. Their word is worthless. The people of the USA never promised Taiwan anything. Taiwan should defend itself or not.
Even if we wanted to help, we have a dementia patient in the Oval office. Taiwan is better off without Biden or Obama’s foreign policy team “helping”
Putin just check mated NATO (really US/UK) by recognizing the two republics. Biden doesn’t have political support for a full out war against Russia, and even with his dementia he knows it. Anything short of that, Russia wins without a shot being fired.
Germany’s air force is in disrepair and 90% of their planes cannot fly. They cannot allow the US/UK to launch strikes out of Ramstein AFB, because Russia would shut off all gas flows into Europe– a year of no gas would leave Europe in ruins even if the US/UK “won” whatever war. The US/UK would then run Ukraine with the same leadership they ran Afghanistan.
Washington DC weapons manufacturers can still make a tidy profit selling weapons that won’t actually be used, so they don’t care. Biden has to pay them either way, with debt the US can’t afford. Its spending that won’t be available to left wing extremist plans.
Germany supposedly has opted to put Nordstream II on perma-hold. The pipeline was technically ready last September, it was only waiting on bureaucratic approvals. Then Germany postponed approval to June 2022, and later to October 2022. Now (supposedly) approval won’t happen until sometime after that.
Ukrainians continue to steal gas from pipelines running through their country causing damage. The pipelines continue to get normal wear and tear. They will break sooner or later. Yamal is maxed out. Nordstream I is maxed out. Thanks to Biden’s war against US energy companies, the US does not have much surplus to ship to Europe even if we had enough LNG ships to fill (which we don’t). Norway’s pipelines into Germany are maxed out, and Norway would have to steal from UK supplies to send more to Europe even if they had transport methods.
Resuming coal mining and restarting coal electric plants is Germany’s only near term option to Russian gas. Germany is shuttering its remaining nuclear plants, and even if they reversed this boneheaded decision, it would take at least a year to get the fuel and personnel ready — assuming Scholz fragile “traffic light” coalition could neuter the Greens, which is unlikely.
LNG from UAE or Qatar (or Iran) is not cost competitive with Russian gas after shipping costs, and there aren’t enough LNG ships anyway. Building ships and/or drilling new gas fields will take time that Europe doesn’t have, and the eventual all-in costs would still be higher than Russian gas.
So Europe is going to pay much higher energy prices unless and until they buy more Russian gas, which means Nordstream II. Putin knows it. Scholz knows it. The Eurocracy knows it.
Sooner or later, thieves in Ukraine and/or normal wear and tear will damage the pipelines through Ukraine. At that point, Germany’s options will be even more stark. And as goes Germany, so goes the EU.
PS — Canada is talking about early elections to evict the Pompadour Fuhrer. Trudeau was already a minority government so its a foregone conclusion that he will be replaced whenever the next election happens.
you missed my comment
Comments not going through?
Sometimes I see “Submitting comment”, sometimes nothing. And in both cases Tom doesn’t approve the posts? Yet the website says I already submitted the comment.
Something is weird
I didn’t get the notification Chris. I just approved it. It happens, it’s not malicious.
I wasnt sure if there was a problem on my end, problem with you approving, or both or all the above. This happened to me on previous post (I sent duplicates).
Thanks
Tom:
If you cant define or even identify a problem, you can fix it. If you are looking for apples and think an apple is an orange you will fail.
The difference between communism and fascism is not some silly ‘word game’ as you mentally fart it.
They use completely different tools and strategies to get and maintain total control over their subjects. Nazis, conning the upper middle class with happy lies requires a completely different set of strategies than conning the poor. And capturing government as a plaything of monopolies globally as Schwab Nazis have done, is a far different path than inciting the mob. While you are looking for commies, the nazi corporate monopolies took control of everything. The Biden-Schwab gang has no use for AOC and other commies except to con them (like they conned you) into thinking they are something they are not.
And once the Schwab Nazis get full global control (especially here) they will kill off the AOC commies and BLMs faster than you can say ‘Hitler broke the cooperation pact and invaded Stalinist Russia.” Ask the folks who remember that carnage if the difference between the two totalitarian rivals is just a silly little ‘word game’.
I mean really Tom, you write so eloquently and wisely on global issues, but on this you have some sort of Nazi amnesia illness. Honestly, on this major issue of our era, get your head out of your butt and discover who you are fighting against.
I support this kind of productive criticism of Tom’s work I support and look forward to in this comments section.
Facism relates to the abuse of power, and the fasces were the bundled rods carried around by the lictors who accompanied Roman magistrates. I am not sure it is a political philosophy as such, unless you factor in the pagan element, and view it as an anti-Christian form of government.
Communism on the other hand is a political philosophy, based around class war and the end of private property. When Davos declare the end of ownership of property, including bodily autonomy, pets, etc, they are clearly card-carrying Commies.
A truly fascinating debate about socialism vs fascism. Executive summary:
Socialism – government controls everything and ostracizes everyone who objects. Later disobedient citizens are jailed or executed. Government corruption slowly, then quickly goes out of control.
Fascism – government controls everything. Anyone who disagrees is dragged off to re-education camps, or executed. Government corruption quickly goes out of control.
Similarities — Government control dissenters sidelined or executed.
Differences — speed of executions. speed of corruption
Let’s leave it to academics to bicker over the more subtle nuances.
I’m glad you think this is valuable. I think it’s nothing more than jargonist bullshit to distract from the real issues and core ideologies of the bad actors.
Functionally there is no difference. Collectivism is the issue. Marx didn’t uncover anything new he just gave a name that was already there. Mussolini, like a good marxist, tried to give it a fresh coat of paint to distract from the essence and purity spirals among the various sects did the rest.
I was being sarcastic. I think the debate is absurd.
Okay… cool, I was worried there for a minute. Text is a terrible form of communications.
Putin is having his way with Ukraine as everyone with half a brain knew he would. NATO would not stop encroaching, so this was going to happen.
Biden and BoJo both announced a bunch of toothless sanctions.
Biden admitted the US military would not be directly involved under any circumstances. Biden can’t even protect the US border with Mexico, its stupid to suggest he could enforce a border halfway around the world. How could Biden protect Ukraine when Biden can’t protect Texas or California?
Despite BoJo throwing a major hissy fit. SWIFT is not going to ban Russia or its banks. Russia, China, India, Brazil, Iran, and numerous countries in southeast Asia, middle east and africa have joined CIPS and various bilateral payment systems. If Russia gets banned from SWIFT, all that would really do is expedite the end of the petro USDollar.
Germany still can’t function without Russian gas. No viable alternatives exist in the near term (0-4 years). Longer term options, if implemented, would still be far more costly than Russian gas.
Germany will have to pay for this Russian gas, and if BoJo got his way on SWIFT — it would be hilarious to watch Germany forced to join CIPS to pay for that gas in Rubles or Yuan. USD are not acceptable form of payment.
British Petroleum has major drilling operations in Russia. If BoJo were to implement any serious sanction, BP would quickly become insolvent, and England’s energy / electric utility fiasco would get much much worse. A dozen utilities in England have already gone bankrupt this year, and British consumers have been mauled by utility bills. BoJo would have another champagne party in #10 gardens, but sanctions against Russia would devastate British voters,
Exxon has a multi-billion dollar operation on Russia’s Sakhalin Island, and told Biden they expected to be compensated for any and all losses.
China was less than subtle about not criticizing Russia for doing in Crimea/Donbas what China is likely to do in Taiwan.
Most importantly, there is STILL no word if Bursima can continue to pay Hunter Biden’s monthly $50,000 bribe.
Davos WEF proposes stakeholder capitalism, contrasting to western style shareholder capitalism and Chinese state run capitalism…the WEF model is based on income redistribution (public private partnerships) while the latter is authoritarian. And we know shareholder capitalism has endless permutations.
https://www.project-syndicate.org/commentary/stakeholder-capitalism-new-metrics-by-klaus-schwab-2019-11
and all of them reduce to Marxism. Stakeholder Capitalism is just a euphemism
So the war mongers and weapons makers in DC are already trotting out the domino theory from Vietnam… because 76% of American sees zero point in getting involved in Ukraine.
This whole fiasco is history rhyming instead of repeating.
Remember when the Soviets put missiles in Cuba? Castro was either sympathetic or supportive, and after the Bay of Pigs he certainly would have been happy for Cuba to join Warsaw Pact and get protection.
Imagine if, after getting caught, Khrushchev had threatened to impose crushing economic sanctions on JFK?
Instead, Khrushchev begged Kennedy for a face saving way for everyone to avoid WW3.
But today, we have a dementia patient in the White House. 90yr old Soros still thinks he can control Europe by controlling gas into Europe. And Hunter Biden still needs to get his $50K per month bribe from Bursima.
So instead of promising Russia to stop expanding NATO, we get to hear the war mongers in DC tell us about domino theory. If Ukraine goes what next? Russia will destroy Gazprom’s cash cow called Germany? Russia, with 140 million people, will invade the EU with 350 million (not including UK, Canada and USA).
Even if Putin surrenders to Biden’s silly sanctions, the rest of Russia still doesn’t want NATO forces in Ukraine anymore than the USA wants Soviet missiles in Cuba. Or Chinese troops on the US-Mexican border.
And what if the US goes and gets millions of people killed over this nonsense? Will Biden manage Ukraine with the same competence he managed Afghanistan?
Will Biden (age 80), Pelosi (82), and McConnell (81) pay the trillions this adventure would cost? Or will they stick others with the bills? And the deaths? Certainly the VA hospitals will continue to be neglected.
Yeah yeah. CNN is finished telling us about the mostly peaceful protests in Kenosha (while the city burned in the background). Now CNN or the FBI liars are telling us we have to go get our kids killed over a piece of land most public school grads can’t find on a map.
The Russians should tolerate NATO on their doorstep, even though we would never tolerate the same from them (and we didn’t).
Khrushchev found a way to back down from his mistake. The dementia patient isn’t that smart.
Am happy when I see good news about this company It makes me have strong believe about this company it’s going towards the right direction, congratulations friend please try to referral to other people.
