Watching the collapse of the Never-Trumpers like Bill Kristol and the insufferably arrogant George Will is just one of the benefits of a Trump presidency. Even if Trump from here screws up everything around the world watching these guys along with all of the Buckley-ites that held ‘conservatism’ hostage for fifty years will have been worth the price of admission.
It certainly is one of the things that makes me not regret my vote.
Because here we are a few weeks after the Singapore Summit with North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un and they are still aligned with the Democrats to cast shade on Trump’s diplomatic victory by continuing the Trump/Russia collusion narrative where none plainly exists.
So much so, that now the talking points revolve around Trump co-opting arch hawk and neocon poster child John Bolton into, of all things, a Kremlin Stooge.
I honestly never thought I’d live to see the day this would happen. But, I’m so glad it did. These guys are a gift that not only keeps on giving but that multiply with every one of their failures.
I talk about that and how they and the Democrats are sinking into the mud of ‘an unexamined life.’ It is their unwillingness to see themselves as anything other than the saviors of humanity that prove they are the exact opposite.
